Aug 21 – SCION ran a promotion for the new 2011 SCION tC by giving away a new car though a national promotion.  This past weekend we saw a winner announced and ever our very own BASF driver Ken Gushi was on had.  Also, for the last couple of years BASF painted cars have won the SCION Challenge at SEMA as we even saw a couple of those as well.  Below are some shots of the event.

The BLOWFISH  Bonneville Salt Flat Racer was built at Rad Rides by Troy.  It was painted by Warren Lewis with Graphic Sand 2 tone layout  by Bob Thrash.  The car holds several national Records and the  color is BASF R-M Carrizzma GOLDENROD yellow with our BASF R-M DC5775 Ulta Flat Clear.

FORMULA DRIFT: ROUND 5 – AFTER DARK

Round 5 – It was a tough weekend in Las Vegas for Ken and the RS*R/BASF team.  Unfortunately, due to mechanical issues with the front lower control arm and gear box, Ken was not able to qualify in the Top 32.  Team RS*R/SCION is hard at work resolving these issues and will look to redeem themselves at Round 5 – Point of Impact on September 10-11.
